John Williams is Senior Vice President and Chief Infrastructure and Compliance Officer for Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB). John earned his B.S. in Business Administration at the University of Tennessee. He joined KUB in 1998 and is responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance, and metering of KUB’s electric, natural gas, water and wastewater systems. Additionally, he has responsibility for the safety, environmental, natural gas and water quality compliance functions. During his tenure, he has served as Senior Vice-President of Engineering and Construction, Vice-President of Construction, Director and Assistant to the Chief Engineer, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer; Manager of Overhead Construction, and Manager of Safety and Security.
John is a Leadership Knoxville alumnus and member of the VISTAGE Key Executive peer advisory board. He also serves as Board Chair for Hillcrest Healthcare Communities and Head Golf Coach for Hardin Valley Academy.
He is married to Crystal Williams. They have two children, Courtney and Conner.
