Yesterday, the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) announced that $392 million in this round of Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure and Safety Modernization (NGDISM) grant selections will go to support 130 projects aimed at fixing aging natural gas pipelines, helping reduce air pollution, and reducing costs for ratepayers in 26 states. Congratulations to the City of Wilson, NC, and the City of Rocky Mount, NC, for being the first announced recipients of the NGDISM grant. PHMSA will make additional individual announcements in the coming weeks for all grant recipients on its social media channels (LinkedIn and X) and website. Read PHMSA's press release here.
