Joshua St.Pierre joined APGA in May of 2023 and serves as the association’s Senior Manager of Legislative Affairs. Joshua is passionate about advocating for sensible, effective energy policy and ensuring that the voices of APGA’s 700+ member utilities are represented in Washington and nationwide. He currently staffs the APGA Legislative Committee and APGA Security Subcommittee.
Joshua was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Cincinnati. During his time in Cincinnati, he held positions on multiple local political campaigns, gaining experience in grassroots mobilization and coalition building. Joshua moved to Washington, DC in 2021, joining the team at a firm specializing in national advocacy campaigns primarily for public health-focused groups. He supported efforts to advance legislative priorities across several states in the Southeast and Midwest.
Joshua currently lives in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of DC and spends most of his free time either exploring the District’s parks or grabbing a bite to eat at DC's many restaurants.
