APGA will hold its second in a series of webinars on a newly established federal grant program for public and community owned natural gas utilities on February 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM EST. APGA staff will be joined by staff from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) who are currently working on getting the program up and running.

As discussed during the first webinar in December, the bipartisan infrastructure legislation that created the grant program gave PHMSA 180 days to issue a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to begin the application process. This webinar will allow APGA members to hear from PHMSA directly about what they envision the NOFO will look like, including potential components of a successful application, as well as their expected timeline. This is a great opportunity for APGA members to get more insight into what to expect regarding the application process and to get answers to questions.
