On February 18, APGA staff provided a webinar that covered an overview of the association’s activities and how members that are new to the association can get more involved. By becoming more involved, APGA members will have greater input into association activities and will in turn see greater value in their APGA membership.
Kathy Garcia, who is the Vice President of Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs & Public Policy at CPS Energy and Chair of the APGA Board of Directors, welcomed participants to the webinar. Dave Schryver provided an overview of APGA, and Erin Kurilla and Renee Lani discussed the APGA committee structure and the activities of the individual committees. Audrey Casey and Marghet Hager, of APGA staff, discussed APGA communications as well as the resources that are available on the APGA website, and a calendar of APGA activities. The webinar also included an overview of APGA’s two foundations: the Security & Integrity Foundation and the Research Foundation.
A recorded copy of the webinar is available on the APGA website at www.apga.org/webinars. If you or someone from your gas systems would like to become more involved in APGA, we encourage you to listen to the webinar.
