Sydney Novoa joined APGA as the Manager of Regulatory Affairs in January of 2024. Prior to joining APGA, Sydney represented clients as a student attorney at the Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Clinic at the American University Washington College of Law. Sydney advised clients in trademark and copyright matters. In law school, Sydney focused on regulatory and intellectual property law. Before attending law school, Sydney worked on the Hill and in PAC fundraising.
Sydney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia and a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law. In her free time, Sydney enjoys practicing yoga, playing piano, and hiking with her dog.
