APGA WELCOMES FORMER ADVOCACY PROGRAM MANAGER
TO LEAD LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS
Washington, D.C. (May 1, 2023) – Today, the American Public Gas Association (APGA), representing more than 730 local, municipally owned natural gas systems in 38 states announced that Joshua St. Pierre will be joining the association as Manager of Legislative Affairs. He is a former program manager for the advocacy efforts of some of Statler Nagle LLC’s clients, including the Infectious Disease Prevention Network.
“With energy policy, including infrastructure permitting reform, being a significant part of the conversation in the 118th Session of Congress, we have much work to do, and we are excited to have Josh on our team,” said Dave Schryver, President and CEO of the American Public Gas Association. “With Josh’s support, APGA will continue to advocate for policies important to public gas utilities, such as protecting energy consumers through reforming the Natural Gas Act, working on a successful reauthorization of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), and ensuring America’s energy future takes a balanced approach, which protects the environment while providing affordable energy.”
In his position as Manager of Legislative Affairs, among other duties, Josh will be responsible for leading APGA’s Legislative Subcommittee, which oversees all the association’s outreach to Capitol Hill.
Prior to joining APGA, St. Pierre held positions at Statler Nagle, LLC and Liberty Hill Group, LLC.
