On April 15, APGA submitted comments in response to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)’s request for comment regarding its upcoming technical conference that will discuss climate change and extreme weather impacts on electric system reliability. FERC posed a number of relevant questions on the topic, including whether any changes can be made to gas-electric coordination to help improve electric system reliability. APGA, though its comments, emphasizes the importance for the Commission to engage with our members and other gas industry stakeholders if it decides to pursue any changes to the existing coordination scheme.
