On September 25th through 27th, APGA staff participated in the Oklahoma Fall National Conference, along with members of Community Leaders of America (CLA) and the Forum for Community Leaders (FCL). Local leaders are critical to ensuring Americans around this country continue to have access to efficient, affordable, and reliable energy, including natural gas. The Mayors, City Councilmembers, and County Leaders who make important decisions about energy used in their communities are a part of CLA/FCL. While a lot of topics were covered, given all that local officials must navigate, having this event in Oklahoma allowed for a particular session on energy solutions. APGA staff was happy to be there to ensure there was discussion on the role public gas utilities play in our country’s energy supply chain.
