Last week, APGA staff spoke at the Annual Conference that brought together the Illinois Municipal Utilities Association (IMUA), Illinois Municipal Electric Agency (IMEA), and the Illinois Public Energy Agency (IPEA). The discussion focused on the grant program just for public natural gas utilities that is being administered by the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). APGA staff highlighted the information publicly available now, including the notice of funding opportunity (NOFO). Because the NOFO is issued, utilities should start applying.
