APGA Signs onto Build by the Fourth of July Coalition Letter

This week, APGA, along with more than 300 organizations sent a letter to Congress calling on legislators to enact comprehensive, bipartisan legislation before July 4, 2021. To read the final letter, please click here.

APGA is a part of the Build by the Fourth of July Coalition, which is being organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Bipartisan Policy Council. The focus of this coalition is to urge Congress to enact a fiscally and environmentally responsible infrastructure package that stimulates the economy and improves the quality of life for every American. The Biden Administration and Congress have voiced their desire to pass legislation to improve infrastructure, and the Build by the Fourth of July Coalition requests that this not be an empty promise. Our nation needs investment in transportation, energy, water, and communications infrastructure, including the pipelines that APGA members operate and are constructing. As well, Congress and the new Administration need to ensure the ability to build new infrastructure is efficient, including appropriate permitting processes.
