APGA Speaks at Southeast LDC Gas Forum

By Renée Lani posted 18 days ago

On April 17, APGA’s General Counsel, Renée Lani, spoke at the LDC Gas Forum Southeast  held in Savannah. Renée presented the opening keynote on the last day of the forum and participated in a Q&A discussion with another presenter, Richard Meyer from the American Gas Association (AGA).  The LDC Gas Forums are held regionally to bring people together from the natural gas industry to discuss vital regional and national issues impacting all aspects of the natural gas marketplace.  The event is held annually and is very well attended by APGA members and other representatives from the natural gas industry.

In her presentation, Renée explored the first three months of the Trump administration.  In that time, President Trump has been making quick work of implementing his policies, which often lie in stark contrast to those promulgated by the Biden administration. Between the numerous presidential executive orders and agency reorganizations, the trajectory of U.S. policy has been sharply adjusted in a short period of time. During her presentation, she walked forum participants through some of D.C.'s most impactful actions to the energy industry, especially natural gas utilities.
