On March 23, APGA’s Director of Regulatory Affairs, Renée Lani, presented at the LDC Gas Forums – Southeast Conference in Savannah, GA. Renée’s presentation covered the many federal regulatory changes recently enacted or currently underway that impact the natural gas industry, such as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) policy statements and upcoming cybersecurity rulemakings.

The conference included a variety of presentations from across the industry on topics ranging from virtual pipelines to renewable natural gas (RNG) to natural gas vehicles (NGV). Several APGA member system representatives were present, including Freddie Martin of Greenville Utilities Commission, who presented on his system’s gas purchasing strategies. For those who attended the conference but were unable to attend Renée or Freddie’s presentations, recordings are available online.
