APGA Operations & Safety staff joined the American Gas Association, the Canadian Gas Association (CGA), and the Distribution Contractors Association (DCA) in their annual meeting with four regional gas distribution trade associations: Southern Gas Association (SGA), Northeast Gas Association (NGA), MEA Energy, and the Western Energy Institute (WEI).

This annual meeting enables trade association staff to exchange notes on operations and pipeline safety advocacy priorities, meeting and event best practices, and general association management topics. More importantly, it provides a unique opportunity for association staff to network with each other and build important coalitions on issues critical for our joint members. Specific topics of discussion included Mutual Aid, Pipeline Safety Management Systems, and COVID-19 response.
