On March 22, APGA’s Director of Legislative Affairs, Emily Wong, joined the Process Gas Consumers for their virtual Member Meeting.

Emily’s presentation covered APGA’s legislative priorities this Congress, which are Section 5 reform, emergency protections for gas consumers, and ensuring new cybersecurity standards are reasonable and practical. Her presentation also covered major legislative developments from this Congress, including the bipartisan infrastructure bill, and the outlook for the rest of the year.

The Process Gas Consumers have supported APGA’s efforts on Section 5 in the past, and APGA regularly meets with their members to keep them apprised of APGA advocacy efforts and to look for opportunities for collaboration.
