APGA Operations Conference
The 2023 APGA Operations conference will be October 24-26 in Louisville, KY. The 2022 APGA Operations Conference had speakers and panels of experts on topics such as pipeline safety regulations, PHMSA's Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization Grant Program, methane emission mitigation strategies, case studies from community-owned utilities, and will also include an exhibitor hall of the latest in products and services for natural gas distribution operations. Attendees got to hear and participate in:
- Our opening keynote will be from Tristian Brown, Deputy Administrator of the Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). Hear how PHMSA is addressing the mandates within the Congressional PIPES Act of 2020 and the PHMSA Pipeline Safety & Modernization Grant Program. Better understand how these directives are driving their regulatory agenda. Deputy Administrator Brown will discuss how the change of administration has impacted both current rulemakings and expectations for pipeline safety efforts in the future.
