Benefits of Publicly Owned Natural Gas Utilities Video

When a local government operates a gas utility, that makes the utility a not-for-profit entity owned by and accountable to the citizens they serve. There are approximately 1,000 public natural gas utilities in the United States. Public gas utilities, whether large or small, share a common goal of keeping energy costs affordable and investing back into their communities, all the while providing natural gas safely.
