APGA Holds Beginning of Year Webinar for Public Gas Policy Council

Late last week, APGA hosted a virtual event for the Public Gas Policy Council (PGPC). The featured speaker was Luke Holland, the Chief of Staff for Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK). As this new year gets off to a fast start, much has happened in Congress and much more debate is expected. Luke recapped how energy policy was impacted with legislation passed in 2021 and what may happen in 2022. Of course, he also gave an insider perspective on what could happen in this year’s elections. It was a productive conversation in preparation of APGA’s upcoming Legislative Summit. Learn more about that here.

The PGPC is made up of locally elected and appointed officials from public natural gas communities. They assist in advancing APGA’s legislative priorities. These individuals are impactful voices with their elected representatives in both the House and Senate. Having an active PGPC carry the public natural gas message to Congress significantly strengthens advocacy efforts. APGA is hopeful similar events for PGPC members can be held throughout the year.
