Natural Gas ECO Manager – Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) is seeking candidates for Natural Gas ECO Manager. The Natural Gas ECO Manager will plan, direct and promote the activities of the Natural Gas Engineering Construction and Operations Department. He/she supervises and manages all functions of NTUA’s headquarter-based Natural Gas Utility.
The Natural Gas Manager will manage a staff of approximately 28, with six (6) direct reports including; NG O&M Construction Officer, Gas Engineer, Gas Operations Manager, Gas Construction Forman, Gas Ops Supervisor, and NG Project Manager. The Natural Gas ECO Manager ensures all staffing and operational needs are met and maintain the availability and efficient operation of NTUA’s 15,000 customer Natural Gas Engineering Construction and Operations Department.
He/she is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a 300 mile gas transmission pipeline.
Must have knowledge of the engineering and operations required for the provision of natural gas to electric generation facilities.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of seven years of natural gas distribution/transmission, construction and operations experience accompanied with at least five years of supervisory experience. A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Natural Gas Engineering, or related field is required. Candidates with a Professional Engineering License are preferred.
