The American Public Gas Association, Clean Cities, and NGVAmerica are the presenting sponsors of a relay race to celebrate energy freedom, a natural gas vehicle (NGV) road rally in spring 2017.
Natural gas is an integral part of the energy foundation of the United States. After all, our economy runs on energy, and natural gas remains foundational to the economic well-being of America.
Imagine a national relay race of NGVs that begins from multiple starting points around the U.S., to show American consumers that natural gas is abundant, affordable, efficient, clean, and domestic. There is a baton at each starting point ending in Washington, D.C., to urge Congress to pass pro-NGV legislation.
Through this event we are able to spread the word far and wide, educating consumers on the benefits of having natural gas in their homes and businesses, and recognizing its significant value as a transportation fuel.
