Sheila Deringis, Director of Events, Finance & Membership

SHeila DeringisSheila serves as Director of Events, Finance & Membership for APGA. In this role she is responsible for the planning and execution of all meetings and conferences as well as membership functions for APGA. She is also responsible for the financial activities of APGA, the APGA Research Foundation and the APGA Security & Integrity Foundation. Sheila serves as the staff executive for several APGA committees, including Annual Conference, Associates and Awards.

Prior to joining APGA in 1996, Sheila worked for a human resources consulting firm in Portland, Maine serving northern New England. She has also worked in the banking industry and seasonally at L.L. Bean.

Sheila graduated from the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
