Craig White

Craig White is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Philadelphia Gas Works, the nation’s largest municipally owned natural gas company, serving more than 500,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in the City of Philadelphia.

Mr. White, a 1978 graduate of Kutztown University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration is also a 1986 graduate of Drexel University where he earned his Master of Business Administration in Financial Management.

Following his father’s 41 year PGW career Mr. White started with the organization in 1980. During his 27 year’s of service he progressed through the ranks and in 1998 was promoted to the position of Vice President, Marketing and New Business Development, then in 1999 was appointed Senior Vice President, Marketing and Supply Services and in 2001 he was moved to his present position as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

He currently serves as a member of the Executive Gas Committee for the Energy Association of Pennsylvania and as board member for the Retail Gas Quadrant Distribution Segment of the North American Energy Standards Board.

He is a member of the Executive Board of the American Public Gas Association, the Leadership Council of the American Gas Association, and formerly performed the role of Treasurer and member of the Operating and Legislative Committee’s of the Associated Gas Distributors.

He is married and has a son and a daughter.
