Don Suarez

Don Suarez is Director of Energy Services of Pensacola (ESP), the natural gas utility owned and operated by the City of Pensacola, Florida. After six years and varied assignments in the propane industry, Don returned to his hometown in July 1984 as ESP’s Assistant to the Director for Marketing. In October 1998, he was promoted to Assistant Director overseeing Operations and Marketing activities, and in January 2000 he was appointed to his present post.

He is a native of Pensacola and a graduate of Auburn University. Don is active in various civic organizations and is a member of the Florida Natural Gas Association’s Marketing Committee and Codes and Standards Committee.

Don earned a B.S. degree in Agricultural Economics from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. He and his wife, Kristi, have two sons, Travis and Matt, and one granddaughter, Grace.
