Fitzgerald Water, Light & Bond Commission celebrated their 100th anniversary on August 27, 2007. Every year, Fitzgerald Utilities shows their appreciation for customers through Public Power Week and Public Natural Gas Week. They also support Relay for Life for American Cancer Society by providing a team and raising money for these events every year.
