Jimmie Butler

Jimmie Butler began his career working for an investor owned utility, Mobile Gas Service, in Mobile, Alabama in 1976. He held various positions within the Gas Operations Department while there. He presently works for a public gas system, Huntsville Utilities, in Huntsville, Alabama, where he is the Manager of the Gas Department. He has been with Huntsville Utilities for six years.

A native of the Mobile area, Butler graduated from Vigor High School and received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Alabama.

He and his wife, Carol, reside in Huntsville. They have a daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Cole Olive, who also reside in Huntsville.
