Board of Directors Les Enoch From 1967 to 1971 served as Commissioned Officer U.S. Army; Judge Advocate General Corps as a Defense Counsel; Chief of Claims; and a Military Judge in the U.S. Army Judiciary. From 1971 to 1973 engaged in private practice of law in Nashville, Tennessee. From 1973 to 1974 served as the Staff Attorney for Department of Conservation, State of Tennessee. From 1974 to 1992 employed by Nashville Gas Company and held various executive positions including Senior Vice President and General Counsel. From 1992 to present serves as Chief Executive Officer of Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District, a municipal corporation founded in 1955. Middle Tennessee Natural Gas serves 53,000 customers in 120 communities within a twenty county service area with service centers in Smithville, McMinnville, Dayton, Crossville, Sparta, Woodbury and Gordonsville, Tennessee. The Administrative Headquarters is located in Smithville, Tennessee. In 1994 presented the M.M. Bullard Award by the Tennessee Association of Utility Districts. The M.M. Bullard Award is presented to recognize financial and operational excellence. In 1998 presented the Tennessee Gas Association Silver Flame Award. The Silver Flame Award is presented to recognize excellence in service to TGA and to the natural gas industry as a whole. In 2000, presented the American Public Gas Association Personal Achievement Award. The Personal Achievement Award recognizes substantial contributions to APGA and the natural gas industry. In 2001, presented APGA Distinguished Service Award. The Distinguished Service Award recognizes outstanding public service exemplifying the highest ideals and finest traditions in management of publicly owned natural gas systems.
