Mark Bussman

Mark Bussman is the CEO of the Cullman-Jefferson Counties Gas District, where he has been since 1987. Before that time, he worked in private practice as a Certified Public Accountant from 1978 – 1987. He is a member of both the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Bussman was on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Natural Gas Association (ANGA) from 1999 until 2005, and served for a year as Treasurer, Second Vice President, First Vice President, and President of ANGA between 1999 and 2003.

He is currently the Chairman of the Alabama Municipal Natural Gas Distributors, and Chairman of the Natural Gas Supply Committee for the Alabama Municipal Distributors Group.

He has served on the City of Cullman Industrial Development Board since 1993 and is currently President of the Cullman City School Board.

Mark is married to the former Vicki Uzzell, a retired Cullman City School teacher and they have three children, Tara (Richard), John and Juli.

Mr. Bussman is an avid motorcyclist and enjoys raising registered Black Angus cattle.
